Flying out: how early to arrive

Airlines usually ask passengers to be at the airport 2 to 3 hours before an international flight. Allow 3 hours when you can: check-in, security and passport control each have their own queue, and they lengthen when several flights leave close together. Count back from there to set your pick-up time: 15 to 20 minutes from the centre, 25 to 35 minutes from the Palmeraie.

Arriving

Passport control, baggage reclaim, then customs. With checked luggage, plan 30 to 60 minutes from landing to the exit during busy periods. The arrival guide goes through each step.
