Marrakech airport fast track and lounges
Fast track, meet and greet, lounge: what each one really is at Marrakech Menara Airport in 2026, what it costs, and whether you need it.
By the Medina Transfers team · Updated 12 October 2026
Fast track at Marrakech airport is sold by private companies, from about 55 to 145 euros per person depending on what is included. It gives access to a priority lane at passport control. In the first half of 2026 the airport operator reported an average wait of under 7 minutes at arrivals border control, so the service mainly helps at peak hours. The lounge is now the Aspire Lounge, which replaced the Pearl Lounge in 2025.
What changed in 2025
For years, the lounge and the fast track at Marrakech were known under the Pearl name. That is over. In November 2024 Swissport announced that its Aspire brand had won a ten-year licence for lounges in Moroccan airports, with openings from April 2025. Travellers reported the old Pearl Lounge as a building site during 2025. Many web pages still describe the Pearl Lounge or Pearl Assist: they are out of date.
Fast track: what you actually buy
| Service | What it is | Prices published by resellers |
|---|---|---|
| Fast track alone | Access to the priority lane at passport control, on arrival or on departure | About 55 to 80 euros per person |
| Meet and greet | A person meets you and walks you through passport control, baggage and the exit | About 65 to 145 euros per person |
| Fast track with lounge | Priority lane and access to the lounge, departures only | About 99 to 180 euros per person |
These figures come from the websites of three resellers, read in October 2026. They do not agree with each other, and one company shows different prices on its home page, its offers page and its blog. We found no official tariff. Before you pay, check what is included: a porter is usually extra, and check-in itself has no priority lane.
How to book
- Online, in advance. Resellers recommend 24 to 48 hours ahead, and one of them charges a fee for bookings made less than 24 hours before.
- Payment before arrival. Another reseller requires payment at least 24 hours before you land.
- On the spot. Travellers on forums say there is a desk beside passport control where the service can be bought on arrival. We could not verify it.
Forum posts also report resellers that did not show up. Choose a company that names the desk where you will be met and gives a phone number.
Is it worth it?
The honest answer depends on the hour you land.
- The official figures are low. For the first half of 2026 the airport operator reported an average wait of 6.86 minutes at arrivals and 5.09 minutes at departures in Marrakech, both lower than the year before.
- Averages hide the peaks. When several flights land together in high season, the hall fills. A reseller speaks of 60 to 90 minutes at immigration from June to September, a figure we could not check independently.
- The past was worse. Reports of waits of several hours date from 2018. Since then passport control has been enlarged, and travellers reported no major queues in early 2026.
For most arrivals in 2026, fast track is a comfort, not a necessity. It makes more sense with young children, with a tight connection to a tour, or on a Saturday in high season. The guide to queues at the airport gives the detail of each step.
The lounges
| Lounge | Where | Who gets in |
|---|---|---|
| Aspire Lounge | Terminal 1, departures, after security and passport control | Priority Pass members; paid access through resellers at about 70 euros |
| Royal Air Maroc L'Oasis | Departures | Royal Air Maroc business class and upper levels of its loyalty programme |
Priority Pass lists the Aspire Lounge as open around the clock; a search result from the operator's own site showed 7am to 10pm. If you fly very early or very late, check before counting on it. A reseller describes access limited to three hours, with drinks, snacks, WiFi and a children's corner. We did not find the official walk-in price, nor confirmation for other lounge programmes.
There is no lounge on arrival that we could find: the former arrivals lounge is listed as closed.
What happens after passport control
Fast track ends at the exit of the terminal. What makes an arrival smooth is what comes next: a driver who is already there. With a booked transfer, the driver waits in the arrivals hall with a board showing your name, follows your flight, and waits up to 60 minutes after landing at no extra cost.
For travellers who want the higher level of comfort all the way, the VIP vehicle costs €80 for up to 7 passengers to the Medina and the city centre, and the standard vehicle €20. Prices for the Palmeraie and the Ourika road are on the price page.
Before you land
- Money: the dirham is obtained on arrival. See ATMs and exchange at the airport.
- Phone: see SIM cards at the airport.

Practical cases
A family landing on a Saturday in April
Spring and school holidays are the busiest periods, and several flights from Europe land within the same hour. This is where a priority lane has the most value, especially with small children who will not stand still. Count the price per person, though: for a family of four, fast track alone costs more than 200 euros at the prices published by resellers.
A couple landing on a Tuesday at midday
Midweek and the middle of the day are described as the quietest. With an official average of under 7 minutes at the border, the priority lane would save a few minutes at most. Keep the money.
A business traveller with a meeting two hours after landing
Here the escort service is worth more than the lane itself: someone meets you, walks you through each step and hands you over at the exit. Combine it with a booked car, so that no time is lost outside the terminal.
A long wait before an evening flight
The lounge is after security and passport control, so you can only reach it once you have checked in. Access is described as limited to three hours. With a membership that includes it, it is an easy choice; at about 70 euros through a reseller, compare it with a meal at one of the cafés airside.
You booked "Pearl" services months ago
Check with the seller. The operator of the lounge and of the fast track changed in 2025, and a voucher in the old name may no longer correspond to a desk at the airport.
Questions to ask a reseller before paying
- Where exactly will I be met, and by whom?
- What is the price per person, and is it the same for children?
- Is the porter included?
- What happens if my flight is late or lands in the middle of the night?
- Until when can I cancel and be refunded?
